Amber
recorded her first official cd . The cd was recorded at
Motormusic studios in Mechelen by the sound engineer
Werner Pensaert. The cd contains the Carnegie Hall
debut program. Debussy Sonata, Schnittke Sonata nr. 1,
van Breen "Flavours" and Beethoven Sonata nr.5 . The
pianist is Taisiya Pushkar who performed this program
with Amber at Carnegie Hall.
The cd is almost finished . Please check back soon for news about the cd release date.

Encounter on the 22nd of August, she will be performing
Bach at the Igreja da Canderlaria.

I had an amazing time as a Tanglewood Fellow, and one of the highlights was performing in the TMC orchestra under Herbert Blomstedt!
Amber is the recipient of the 2010 "van Lier
Post-graduation Fellowship" from the Edward and Sally
Van Lier Fund of the New York Community Trust, this
award has been given through the Manhattan School of

"Notes & Neurons: In Search of the Common Chorus" Is our response to music hard-wired or culturally determined? Is the reaction to rhythm and melody universal or influenced by environment? Join host John Schaefer, scientist Daniel Levitin and musical artist Bobby McFerrin for live performances and cross cultural demonstrations to illustrate musics note-worthy interaction with the brain and our emotions. This event took place on June 12, 2009 in the Gerald Lynch Theater at the City University of New York.
